Take Neurontin exactly as directed by your doctor. Neurontin is not known to cause stomach upset and may be taken alone or with food. Do not share your prescription of Neurontin with anyone, even if their symptoms are similar to your own.
Neurontine Side Effects
SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking Neurontin include tiredness, drowsiness, dizziness, tremor, back pain, dry mouth, constipation, increased appetite, or an upset stomach. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Neurontine Drug Interactions
DO NOT TAKE NEURONTIN within 2 hours of taking an aluminum- or magnesium-containing antacid.
Missed Dose of Neurontine
If you miss a dose of Neurontine, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose of Neurontine to catch up.
Neurontine Overdose
If overdose of Neurontine is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: irregular heartbeat, fainting, severe dizziness or lightheadedness.
